Old video but I just moved to the area and started beach combing a couple of months ago and having fun finding some cool stuff around Damons point and I also search an area between my house and Damons point that I find a few cool ones.
Dig it. I just watched some guy build brand new tiny house on a fancy trailer with all new material…. I almost wanted to die. Thanks for being cool and building with old stuff
Thanks to people like Blair, there's not beach glass anymore. It's all been gathered up by tourists. This area has been completely trashed by tourists, retirees, and the people Seattle busses to our area for the methadone clinic. There is a massive housing shortage (thanks tourists, airBnB), cost of living is insane, wages are pathetic (tourism is a poverty industry). People who whore out our land to tourists, retirees, and others need to repent of their atrocious antiwhite behavior.
👍👍👍🥰🥰
How cute. What a fun grandpa !
Are you allowed to collect rocks there I would love to find some of that orbicular jasper to tumble.
Not supposed to in the National Park.
thats what I thought also@@JohnTravena
Thanks for the help! It's good to get an idea of what we are looking for.
Do you ever sell agates you find?
I seen you today! I knew you looked familiar!!!!!
Too bad he didn't show how he install the windows.
Très jolis
slow down......
❤❤❤❤❤
if its NOT frosted its just discarded glass'
yes... you do see some jagged pieces out there that people have left on the beach. They call that "seeding the beach" in hopes the newly planted colored sea glass will resupply the beach.
Love this greenhouse... I've come back and watched it many times over the last several years. Would love to see it now in this current year 💚 a walkthrough would be awesome. We are building our own now after years of waiting for the right time 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! I'll see what I can do about a follow up video

Enjoyed the video walk! Hopefully I can make it again to Glass Beach when we are on our "A Belated Anniversary" trip in a couple of days! It gets my heart rate up just watching!
Please l have one, can I have your number or whatsap number to send it to you
Hi, I just found your video and am completely blown away! I know it’s a few years old but I’m extremely impressed! I’m really hoping you see this message. My daughter moved to Eugene a month ago to start her freshman year at the U of O. We are from Iowa and are flying there the first week of November. We are only going to be able to stay 5 days. Can you recommend a beach closer to Eugene that would possibly be a good place to look for sea glass? I have been looking online but most beaches are 4 hours away. We only have 5 days with her and don’t want to spend it in the car the entire time. We just came back from a 10 day vacation in Alabama on Orange Beach. I spent HOURS every day looking for sea glass. Didn’t find a single piece. I found some amazing shells but no glass. If you see this and have an idea of where to go I’d greatly appreciate your recommendation because you clearly know what you are doing! Best wishes in your future adventures 🤘🏼
Here's a good web article about several good sea glass beaches in Oregon. I hope it helps. The best location I've found in the Pacific Northwest is Glass Beach in the Port Townsend area. So I always recommend this location. I hope you had a great visit with your daughter at U of O.
Whats that translucent white n yellow stones among agates

This is the exact info I’ve been looking for before heading out there. I’ve been told low tide, but thank you for the tide details!
Glad I could help!

Nice video
What beach are you finding this ? Those are awesome finds!
Most of my sea glass videos are out on Glass Beach in the Port Townsend, WA area. Go up to the North Beach parking lot in the northern part of Port Townsend and hike out due west toward McCurdy Point. Go around the point and you will be on Glass Beach. It was the site of the old town dump up until the 1960s. Now as you look at the beach you will see tiny bits of sea glass. I you go early in the year you will find more turned up by the winter tides and storms. Go down the beach about a 1/4 mile to find the better pieces. Always consult a tide app for your smart phone and avoid being out there when the tides exceed 7.5 feet. The higher waves will cover the narrow beach on your way out there which will make the hike very difficult as you will be forced up onto the sandy cliff. I hope this helps.

My best friend, I liked the video very much, thanks you for sharing, stay safe, stay blessed
Great video, I live in BC and my favourite hobby is agate hunting at the ocean.❤
FANTASTIC VID! Bucket List check off two years ago...BY MYSELF...at 60 yrs of age and not the healthiest... it was indescribable what I endured...your video is perfect!
Is this beach usually this empty during this time of season?
oh, yes... during the early months of March and April there are not many hikers out there. I always attempt to hike out early each time to get a good start and allow for more time to hunt.
great finds enjoyed the video
some nice finds well done
well done on the finds gl&hh😊
This beach is from the Timothy advert, ghosh my memory sucks but who removed the (actually actually video the sister one?) I need to report this to the icc
Earth wise in Tacoma is one of my favorites. I got a beautiful bourbon barrel for a bathroom sink. Love the staff there. We got our windows off of offer up, and FB Marketplace. All beautiful! Thanks for the videos
THIS IS GORGEOUS 😮😮😮😮😮I WISH I COULD HAVE ONE HALF THIS SIZE, WOW!!!!!!!!! VERY TALENTED
We built our greenhouse using old windows and doors. We build a deck to start with for the floor. I think having yours on the ground will keep it warmer. Idk
Do you ever nhunt washaway beach
I've never been down to Washday beach but I would enjoy trying the beach. Damon Point is in a great location to receive the many nuggets washed out by the Chehalis River.
We built our Greenhouse out of mostly reclaimed windows and doors. But I love the square glass tiles. We ended up filling in the excess space with wood fence boards. But I love the look of the glass tiles... Great job.
I enjoy watching you live in Stanwood, Washington can’t find any. Do you sell yours?
not for sale yet... I collect it and use many for making jewelry, wire wrapped pendants, earrings and other types. Find us on Etsy.com "pnwbeachtreasures"
Hi there I collect small vintage glass animals they could be one or two inches and I have them in Shadow Boxes but I was just thinking wouldn't it be great if I could wear them? I'm wondering what you think about drilling holes in this fragile kind of glass?
If you are very careful and go slow you could definitely drill the small glass animals. I use a Dremel with a 1mm drill bit that is diamond tipped. This allows for a clean and slow drilling process. You can find the drill bits on Amazon. I also mount my Dremel into a Dremel drill press that holds the Dremel in place and helps me control the drilling process.
hunting agate on the beach, you find lots of beautiful stones there friends. great find.
Thank you so much for making this video! My husband and I are new to sea glass and agate hunting. We were having a hard time identifying the rocks. This is very helpful! 😀
I thought glass beaches didn't allow removing the glass...it's against the law?
There is a restricted beach in California called "Glass Beach" that lies within MacKerricher State Park. Gathering sea glass is illegal there. The public beaches in Washington State allow beach combing and the collecting of sea glass.
Beautiful
جميل العقيق الاصفر الشفاف وربما السترين
I was wondering did you add any angle bracing between the walls
No angle bracing. The structure is small enough (12' x 12') with much of the flex taken out by the installation of the windows. It seems very firm over the last few years.
Great job G'dad :) Grandchildren bring back the child in us .... my life revolves around fairies, elves etc... this year I'm in the process of making a 'xmas fairy village' I love your ideas ....
Right on
